i got no beef with atheism, i’m not crazy about what happens to religion once you involve flawed individuals with axes to grind
i’m just not sure what victory blow is struck for reasoned thought when someone’s aunt posts on facebook “thank god my surgery turned out okay” and the next post is “no, thank the doctors, you primate”
redditors on the whole are just generally awful

it’s just sad that it went from being a fandom focused on accepting people for who they are to one focused on rape jokes and sexism
